Who is responsible
Moxbejellytornado Agricultural Media Ltd, company number 14783095, is responsible for personal information it receives through editorial correspondence. Our registered office is 24 Market Street, Cambridge CB2 3PA, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or requests.
Browsing this website
The site’s own page scripts do not include advertising trackers, analytics services or a message-submission endpoint. Requests to deliver pages and local assets necessarily expose technical information, such as an IP address and browser request headers, to the hosting infrastructure. Hosting providers may process access and security logs to deliver and protect the service.
We use operational information where necessary for our legitimate interests in keeping the website available, investigating misuse and protecting systems. This does not make the local field-note contents part of a page request.
The local field-note tool
Names, email addresses, subjects and messages entered into the tool are used in the current page to construct a plain-text preview. The site’s script does not send those fields to us or deliberately store them in cookies or browser storage. Your browser may retain form values through its own autofill or session-restoration features.
The Copy button writes the preview to your device clipboard when you request it. The Download button creates a plain-text file on your device. Clipboard services, device backups, downloaded files and browser extensions remain subject to your own device settings. Avoid entering sensitive information on shared devices.
If you email us
We receive the information you choose to send, including your address, message and normal email metadata. We use it to consider your question, investigate corrections and maintain necessary correspondence. Our usual basis is our legitimate interest in responding to relevant editorial contact; legal obligations may also require specific records to be retained.
Email and hosting providers may process information on our behalf. We do not sell correspondence or use it to create advertising profiles. We may disclose information when required by law or where necessary to protect legal rights. We will seek permission before publishing an identifiable personal account unless another lawful basis clearly applies.
Retention and international processing
We keep correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, including follow-up, correction history or legal requirements. We consider the nature of the issue and the sensitivity of the information rather than keeping all messages indefinitely. Service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom; applicable transfer safeguards must be used where required.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict processing, object to processing and request portability. Where consent is used, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions.
Send requests to our contact email with enough information to identify the relevant correspondence. We may need proportionate identity checks. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You do not have to contact us first to exercise that right.
